If you’ve ever wondered what actually happens behind the scenes in the music industry, or you’re an artist aspiring to break into the Australian industry, the intune conference 2015 was a knowledgable introduction to the industry.

This year’s speakers were a versatile melting pot of musical enthusiasts with one common belief…to strengthen the music community locally.

Over two days, intune’s master classes and workshops will gave aspiring artists’ and music enthusiasts a chance to pick industry professionals’  brains and develop their skills for their future career.

Guest speakers included our very own Territory names such as Matt Bern (Territory FM) and Michael Maher (Worldfly) to national names like Sarah Hamilton (Ditto) and Peter Noble (Bluesfest), plus heaps more.

Panelists covered a broad range of topics such as the tips and tricks for promoting yourself to sharing their stories in a diverse and infinitely progressive environment.

John Wardle, Live Music Office, held an open forum alongside Mark Smith, Music NT, discussing the Northern Territory’s live music capacity. The discussion highlighted the NT’s decrease in live music venues, including the recent closure of the Chippo.
