The Hunter is the third release from The Lonely Boys. Having waited the best part of 10 Years to release their first single (Murray Island) the band are ready to take on the national music scene. Described by many in the music industry a hard rock band with genuine punk attitude.
The Hunter is almost a modern anthem to remote community life, it proudly states who “we are” (remote community people” and the pride “we” have in still having ‘our’ traditional skills and the importance of passing those skills onto young people. Lonely Boys are an example of local experience informing modern community songwriting.
