Crowe And Thompson Bag A Spot In RELEASE

Among others from across Australia and New Zealand

David Crowe and Jalyay Jaja Thompson from Alice Springs have been selected to participate in the Australian Music Industry Network’s RELEASE professional development program.

Crowe and Thompson are among 15 people named from across Australia and New Zealand to join the mentor program.  RELEASE: The Business of Record Label Management is a six-month project assisting independent label owners and senior managers in the music industry.

“RELEASE will give participants the opportunity to not only build new professional networks, but to develop new business models that will benefit the growth of artists and the music industries in both Australia and New Zealand” said Joel Edmondson, Director of Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN)

The program is presented by the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN), and supported by Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) and Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ). Funding has been provided by theAustralian Government and the New Zealand Music Commission.
