We are thrilled to be partnering with Darwin International Film Festival to present two incredible nights of local music against the backdrop of the Arafura Sea matched with fabulous Australian films. With a lineup this hot and limited tickets available, these events will definitely sell out!
These live shows are also your opportunity to be part of the live audience in the filming of these performances as Foldback creates breathtaking content to support and promote artists in the Northern Territory.
Event 1 – 20 September:
Performances by the impeccable David Garnham & the Reasons to Live and the incredible Stevie Jean.
Both played to sell-out crowds at Darwin Festival, so if you missed out now is your chance to see them play live before the wet hits and outdoor events are in the can for yet another year!
BBQ sessions are followed by Mystery Road – the 2013 cult Aussie thriller starring Aaron Pederson, Tasma Walton, Hugo Weaving and a bunch of other great Australian talent.

Event 2 – 27 September:
Foldback and DIFF are super-excited to present East Journey from East Arnhem Land, along with the much-loved RachelRachel for the second BBQ Sessions and the DIFF closing night. The film to follow is a brand new must see – the theatrical premiere of ‘Looky Looky Here Comes Cooky’ – A fresh, funny and provocative look at the Cook legend from a First Nations’ perspective, jam packed with great new music.
