BLUE SKIES OF THE TERRITORY INSPIRE COUNTRY ARTIST’S ALBUM

Noonamah singer/songwriter Kim Koole has jammed with country music royalty Kasey Chambers, she’s performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and she won a scholarship to the CMAA (Country Music Association of Australia) Academy of Country Music but her Territory-inspired debut album will be her career highlight.

On April 23, 2017 Kim Koole will release “Blue Skies”. Recorded and produced by Golden Guitar winner, Stuie French at Swingin’ Door Productions, the eleven track album is inspired by the laid back, optimistic lifestyle of the Northern Territory. The debut release is highly anticipated after the lead single was recognised as a finalist in the prestigious NT Song of the Year Awards.

Koole said it was through her Territory upbringing of family fishing, camping and hunting trips that she discovered her passion for country music. “It was on those family road trips that I was introduced to The Eagles, John Williamson and Kasey Chambers and they’ve always been a massive influence on the music I like to write. And I’ve always enjoyed the adventure and fun of living in the Territory so it’s become a theme in my song writing. I’ve spent the past two years on this album and I’m extremely proud of it and can’t wait to share it,” she said.
