Free Wet Season Local Artist Shows Live At The Darwin Entertainment Centre!

You asked for it, so the Darwin Entertainment Centre delivers with FIVE massive shows over 15 days of the Wet Season – may we introduce to you the DEC Wet Sessions for 2020!

But wait, you want even more?? How about some FREE local talent on the same night at the Darwin Entertainment Centre’s intimate Live @ The Studio room pre-main show to get you in the mood, and not to mention new food and drink areas so you can fill your boots while you wet your whistle – what a wonderful way for locals to see local artists perform for free in Darwin’s premier entertainment venue.

Live @ The Studio has undergone a major facelift to accommodate this new live music concept at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, to give the music-loving public the chance to catch some of the NT’s top musical talent. You don’t have to be a ticket-holder for any of the main events  – just simply come along for these free shows in a relaxed atmosphere, have a drink from one of the bars and sit back and relax to some chilled tunes – bring a friend, in fact bring several! The room is open-planned with standing areas, tables and floor cushions to suit your mood.

First up is this weekend (Saturday February 22nd) with local larrikins, the very danceable Jigsaw Collective providing free entertainment over two sets in Live @ The Studio from 6.00pm prior to the night’s main event, the Queen Forever tribute show held in The Playhouse (sold out) – if you don’t have a ticket for Queen Forever, don’t worry, just come along and check out Jigsaw Collective and imbibe the atmosphere that is Live @ The Studio. There is also a new bar in the DEC foyer and undercover outdoor food and beverage areas for mingling between sets, with beer and cider from Darwin’s favourite local brewers One Mile Brewing Company on tap.

If you liked the taste of the Wet Sessions Live @ The Studio this weekend, here is the lineup of main shows and free supports for the following weeks (click the links for ticket sales):
