The bearded man has been selected as on of the finalists for the 2015 APRA Professional Development awards in the Country category.
NT muso, Dave Garnham, is among five other contenders for the winning place this year’s PDA awards. If he wins, he could take away $15,000 prize money. That is a seriously good investment for the future of his career.
The APRA Professional Development Awards runs every two years and is an initiative which helps expand Australian artists’ musical careers in the industry.
Other success stories from the PDA awards have been the likes of Gotye, Abbe May, screen composer Caitlin Yeo, Husky Gawenda, Georgi Kay, country songwriter and performer Morgan Evans and others.
