It’s always a treat when the Violent Femmes come to town and this time was no exception. After nearly four decades in the business, they brought their energy and played to old and new fans alike with their eclectic brand of folk rock/punk that has an unmistakeable sound. The band is currently touring with the sublime NT father-daughter duo Rayella who opened for them with subtle songs in language and then joined the VFs on stage for a cool reggae jam. Thanks to the Darwin Entertainment Centre for the access to take these images of the night.
