Gored Matadors Return To The Railway Club

Support from Epic Phannys & Bloody Marys
It was so good to be back at the Darwin Railway Club last Saturday night for some rollicking local live original music from some of Darwin’s best – it’s been a long time.
It was also good to see things bouncing back so successfully after COVID-19 shutdowns of live music venues (let’s hope it stays that way). With both indoor and outdoor options at the Rails, it proved to be a perfect venue for the post-shutdown gig conditions, with plenty of space to spread out and socialise outside in the garden area, or be inside where the action is. It was a reunion atmosphere with plenty of catch-ups for friends who in some cases have not met in person for months.
Similarly, it was great to see the Gored Matadors take to the stage again for the first time in a long time. There was plenty of emotion for front man Tim Foiler and the crew, and much raw grooving ensued. To be fair, the warm-ups from both the wonderful women of the Epic Phannys and the celtic-rock legends The Bloody Marys had the floor both swaying and stomping respectively prior to the headliner.
Foldback Magazine was there to capture the action – check out our photo gallery below
